Isn't ADHD something you are born with? I think that if there were statistics to back that up, it would be because having a child with a severe behavioural issues, such as ADHD might cause more deadbeat fathers to walk out.

To CJ, my boyfriend wasn't vaccinated and has ADHD. One of my best friends little brother wasn't vaccinated, and has autism. Vaccinations have nothing to do with it.

Attention problems can be exacerbated by single parenthood as the parent doesn't have as much time to spend with their children, but I don't believe it's any more likely to cause it.

My son was born with it as the youngest of 7 and the only one with it. No single parenting does not come into it. I was married at the time and it has improved lately I am now a single parent....

i think single parents are more likely to think their kids have add cause the have the kid all the time and just dont have patients to put up with them so they give them a meds ride so they can have a break
