I think this has been misconstrued.
i do not think they get money for it, they just receive ICB bcos alcoholism is classed as a disease or affliction.

I think the only way you could get alcohol for free was if you signed into an alcohol annonymous meeting. My uncle went and that was the only place he was SUPPOSED to drink alcohol. Itwas a way of weening somebody off alcohol.

I never heard of this. Where was this supposed to take place? I know some social workers and they get cross with their customers that come in looking for money because they drank what they had.
