Let's put it this way. In no UFC event has there been quality matchups throughout the fight card. Pride has come close to doing this with Shockwave and their tournament finals. Pride has enough high caliber fighters to put on a card that involves great fights in every weight class, as does the UFC, but the UFC would never do that, because they care more about money than finding out who the best is. I watch both religiously, but Pride has the better events overall.

Pride has the better fighters, UFC is better run. UFC has some outstanding fighters, but in my opinion, Pride has better Lightweights, Heavyweights, and even Light Heavyweights I think Pride hast he advantage with Wanderlei Silva and Shogun Rua. I would love to see a superfight type event where the two organizations square off.

Well, at the next Pride event, February 24th, 3 of their Champion will be fighting. Wanderlei Silva, Dan Henderson, and Takanori Gomi. It could be the event of the year. Pride simply has more talent, and much more depth. UFC is good too, but I like Pride better.

Well i think once rampage gets smashed by chuck people will change their tune and side with the UFC. And also i have a feeling that Cro Cop is not gonna win the championship once he gets there as well. But either way the UFC is obviously better why else would all the Pride guys be jumping ship. Anderson, Cro Cop, Rampage, Heath Herring, the UFC was even gonna take Wanderli but then White didnt want him once he got his *** kicked by Cro Cop.

I'll say this again, most knowledgeable MMA fans know Pride has a deeper talent roster(better fighters). For example, take the light heavyweight division, Liddell is considered by most magazines to be the #1 ranked light heavy in the world, but, and I stress but,#2Rua,#3Silva,#4Arona,#5 lil Nog all fight for Pride, so how is that even? But as far as Org's they are both the same and I like them both, have been supporting both since the beginning and will continue to due so. Comes down to the fact that fighters are the same all over the world and it doe'snt matter what org you're in.

The reason we watch both is because they both have their strengths and weaknesses.

Pride has better fighters, better fights, but is fought in a ring and I hate that. If Pride was decided in an Octagon, UFC would be out of business.

UFC allows no kicks on the gound. Pride allows no elbows. (both of these rules are gay)

I give UFC props for putting MMA on the map here in the states. Respect to Dana for that one.

But all in all, I gotta give it to Pride. Look at it this way.

Who are you tuning in to UFC 67 to watch tomorrow? Exactly! I could care less about the Silva/Lutter fight. I wanna watch Rampage and Cro-Cop inside an Octagon.

Pride with the headliners Gomi and Fedor, how do you beat that. My two favorite fighters in Pride easy decison.

I also like the pride tournaments very cool. I think Pride is a step ahead of UFC.

I think pride has some better fighters . But now the UFC has gotten Quinton and Crocop. And i hate the big theatrical show that they try to put on in pride . So i guess I'm going to have to give it to the UFC

UFC = worse fighters

pride is like the cream of the MMA crop. While there are good fighters in the UFC, you need to be a better fighter to be in pride.
