Hi there...please consider ringing your vet to help you better determine if your cat should immediately come in for an evaluation. Most cats who ingest any foreign objects can suffer an intestinal blockage which is life-threatening and surgery is required to remove these items as they can cut off passage within the intestinal tract.

I would suggest calling a vet for advice and a possible appointment. A rubber band especially a large one can lodge around a cat's intestines and possibly be fatal.

Your cat needs to be seen by a vet. Xrays are the key here, so it can be determined if there is intestinal blockage due to the rubberband. If your cat begins vomiting or having diarrhea there is most likely blockage. This is dangerous & can kill your pet

get your cat to a vet asap. foreign objects can cause intestinal blockage and you would be well served to have a vet take a look at your cat to be certain there are no problems before you have an animal in distress and need to have an emergency operation.
