Just wondering what sort of things do guys do or say in order to signal their interest in a lady in a covert/ testing the waters sort of way

Well yes as above, but I suppose thats based on how sexual he is, apparantly lots of looking into your eyes, pointing his body towards you, touching you, asking lots of questions, always being near to where you are, fiddling with things in front of you, thrusting actions towards you, eyebrow lift when you first meet, voice gets more softer around you, that soft look, or glazed eyed look when he looks at you, wants to keep the conversation going, remembers every little detail that you say. I suppose a lot of this depends on how shy or forward he is, I still get confused with signs to this day, they do most of this stuff above, its seems like they rush off as fast as you see them LOL! Or don't ask you out! I think the trouser buldge has only every happened with guys that I know pretty well, I have never had that with a strange bloke!

Look in their eyes. The eyes tell everything about a person. If a guy wants to go out with a girl he will look at her in a different eye. He would seem delighted when she talks to him.
Then there are those guys that move a bit further. They start flirting with the girl they like. These type of guys are not shy and so they attract the attention of many girls.

If he makes fun of you in a jokey way. You are on to a winner. If the person is confident then you will know when he likes you. If he is nervous then he will be in a state of turmoil. He will want to be closer to you, talking to you but he will be dreading you finding out that he is interested. With these types you must make the first move. He will open up after this.
I used to be the shy nervous type until i was seduced!

First off if he is really interested in you he will look in your direction constantly, or ignore you completely...it depends. Anything in between means he isn't interested. Also he wil be very suggestive in the things he says, refering to sex, or less extream you two spending time together etc.
