I paint pictures in oil and acrilic on canvas. I would like to present my work but donot know how to frame a canvas. Tips please.

Just take it to a frame maker and get it framed without a glass.see that you have varnished the painting before framing.
Oil on canvas can be cleaned to remove dust with bread slice.

if you want to go the cheaper route which speaking as a fellow artist most do just visit such places as AC Moore or micheals or any othe craft store and they'll have frames there for A LOT cheaper. You just buy the ones without the glass in them and pop the painting in securing it with metal clips if you ask any of the people their they'll kno what you mean. Then if your planning to show your work you have to be sure to follow the instructions they give usually they require you to have it be able to be hung with a wire not the grooved metal hangers. Just be sure the wire is thick enough and evenly set the right distance for your partically painting to look nice when hung.
