I think it was possibly Hughroy Currie who won the title back in 1985? or it may have been Neville Meade or maybe David Pearce, who both held the title before Currie did but im not totally sure if they were black or not?. It definately wasent Lennox Lewis as he wasent British champion untill 1991 when he beat Gary Mason and Frank Bruno never actually fought for the british title. Razor Ruddock and Trever Burbick were Canadians so it definately wasent either of them.
