Too right it could if it had the nerve to get close enough to it, or if it was caught by surprise. Having been nipped by a Pike in the past I have always been careful since when handling them!

Pike normally stick to eating small fish, crayfish, shrimp etc. but have also been known to attack small mammals when swimming

If the fish was hungry enough, it might attack a small dog. If it only hit once then I imagine the dog would be ok, but there could be damage done if the pike kept attacking

It depends. If you sharpen the end of the pike and throw it with enough force you could probably scewer the dog pretty good.

Yes, they can be very feroucous and have really strong jaws.

Yes and they have been known to kill swans
