A friend of mine (of 4 yrs) met about 4 yrs ago when we worked in a call center,then she started dating a mutual friend 4 2mths and moved in 2gether a yr, we all remained friends during that yr things went sour between them because she's emotionaly abusive, and has a lot of baggage, she attempted suicide 4 times while staying with him.... and blamed him for it,being both their friend i know he did everything to help her but she was bsy feeling sorry for herself, couldnt careless what she's put him thru, so they finally broke up in 2004 after being together 4 1&half yr I continued my friendship with her ex,& still; was best friends with her, it was all ok,.torwards the end of last yr I've been spending a lot of time with him, I'm falling for him so we started dating, before that I told her how I felt,she totally flipped. she sent me a very recentfull email recntly talking about how i've betrayed her,she never wants to see me.... gone on and on.....did really betray her??? how can

You dating the guy now. You like him? Go for it. She messed up, doesn’t mean you will..
If she was really your friend she’d be happy for you.

Yes and No.
Yes, you don't date a friend's Ex w/o permission.
No, she has metal issues and there is a good chance that if she had been healthy the relationship w/ her Ex would have worked out.
In either case you don't need that sort of drama in your life. Enjoy your new boyfriend and hope that your ex-friend seeks mental counseling.

lf they had already been broke up you did nothing wrong. She is very insecure and inmature. She needs to get herself emotionally stable. She had the chance to me him happy but all she thought about was herself.You have the chance to make this guy happy.Don't loose him over an insecure friend. Pray for her that she might be able to help herself someday.But get on with your own life.
