Thinking each of their religion is right disregarding and disrespecting the religion and personal beliefs of others and without consideration mocking them, ridicule and insult though it isn't actually rewarding to them, only hurtful to those insulted. Even as a Muslim, I don't go around saying "My religion is the one, true religion in this world, you all will go to Hell." While the rest of the muslims I see are doing this and only spreading hatred, ignorance and prejudice instead of setting examples. This behaviour is comparible with many others in this world, not just Islam. Why can't we all just get along?
A verse from the Quran:
"My religion is my religion, your religion is your religion."

If there are muslims out there who are doing this then they are simply wrong. But from my experience here I have seen that the most insulting groups have been first of all atheists and then so called Christians. And most of the insults have been directed towards God, Jesus, Muhammed, Islam, Christianity and others held dear by some people. It only serves to spread hate and misunderstanding, no other useful purpose. It does not convince someone to convert or to move away from one belief to another as some people are hoping it will do. Instead the one insulting leaves a bad taste for others and will not be someone to be followed.

I saw a 30 minute show on country preachers and the funny thing I noticed was that the hard line judgmental Fundamentalist Christians on the show lied, were nasty and judgmental. Whereas the snake handles that didn't judge others were kinder and more down to earth. Some religions seem to need to make enemies of non believers.

Well, im glad theres at least one guy here that thinks that way... you are right... why cant we all just get along...
This may be why...
It is human instinct to out-do the next person... it really is primitive instinct... its how humans work...
I understand we have evolved alot since "monkey days" but we all still have very primitive thoughts... sme more than others.
Have you ever watched someone closely? I mean real close? Ever watched two men in a fight... they'll square up... just like animals. And women... women scratch and lash out, and bite... just like cats.
Its human behaviour... less tolerable in this day and age... but thats what it is.

I know many people of differing belief structures and they don't profess to know the truth or try to convert others to their ways, that is a gross generalisation ... oh wait, these people I'm referring to don't belong to organised, structured churches. They are Pagans, Wiccans, Cultists, Atheists. These people are also very open to, and also fascinated by, others' ideas and willing to explore and study and explore differing belief philosophies.

It's quite black and white. Muhammad was a deceiver, so that narrows your options down a bit. Quit being decieved and come to God, who is not allah, but the Almighty God.
