well it goes like this.after they jammed a crown of thorns on His head and beat Him with a whip that had nine tails filled with glass and sharpened stones that split His back in 39 stripes humiliated Him by spitting in His face then making Him carrying His cross and then placing spikes on His wrists and feet and nailing Him to that cross,Then placing it in a hole,He had to endure that for six hours.Plus He had all of every sin put on His back that humans committed. He was shamed and naked yes.and He did all that so we don't have to suffer for our sins if we believe and ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins and come into our hearts. We have it easy.

Peace!
Yes, Jesus was most probably nude when he was crucified. That's how the Romans crucified people convicted of rebellion against the state. .

I do believe he was. Even though he is depicted otherwise in art for obvious reasons. The Romans crucified people naked. I seriously doubt Jesus would have been an exception. To them he was nothing special.

Well the truth is that when the Romans crucified someone they stripped them of everything including their dignity as well, so this would have been the case with Jesus, however tradition holds that His Mother removed Her veil and and was allowed to wrap this around Her Son to preserve His Jewish dignity.

yes
coz its written very clearly in the Bible that the soldiers tore his garment and cast lots on it. So evnentually Jesus was hung naked.
Statues show Him having a cloth to protect His honor.

Most probably. Roman crucifixion was not just a method of execution, it was meant to humiliate the criminal and dissuade others from doing like crimes. So, yes; when the solders took his clothes, they took ALL of his clothes.

My Bible does not say he was.

That was the dress of the era. Light and cool. The sun would burns every exposed area, so they wore "sheets" more or less.
