My husband and I are divorced but we had two children. Our daughter is just like him in looks, but acts like me (Thank God, the little sweetie tries to help out and cleans up her own mess at the age of 3). Our son has a seizure disorder but looks exactly like me when I was a baby. He was diagnosed at three weeks of age. Here's the really odd thing. There is absolutely no family history of it whatsoever on either side of the family. They've done genetics and all sorts of tests, but nothing has been found. My bf who I knew for years before he became my bf in June DOES have a history but he himself does not have it. His brother does so there is family history. I was also thinking a lot about him while pregnant with my son because I already knew the marriage was basically over. Is a sort of spiritual transference possible? Just some ideas please.

"Seizure disorder" is an environmental thing. It is caused by our toxic environment. Get the diet better in all ways you can. Barley green, nutritional yeast,. -- concentrate on nutrient dense foods. Do some cleansing. Essiac works because it is a balanced gentle cleanser. Find PRESCRIPTION FOR NUTRITIONAL HEALING by the Balch's. (it is a good reference work, and should be in every home... you can probably find a copy at the local health food store, or maybe the library) Also get a REAL SALT! (One that has all 14 minerals of sea water rather than just sodium chloride)

i'm not a wiccan, yet i'm a Christian who loves handling the supernatural. God is afterall, supernatural. See, it is around the tip cases now and 'magic' and issues like that only have long previous away. there remains some left, yet not very lots. some thousand years in the past I have not have been given any doubt that would desire to take place, yet those days? I doubt it.

Absolutely no! This is an old wifes tale. A child can develop a seizure disorder for many different reasons. Genetics is only one possibility but most seizure disorders don't run in families. I had seizures but nobody else in my family.

While there could not be history in your immediate family of the disorder, it does not eman there is not any in your family heritage going back hundreds of years, before medical advancements could detect anything like that, so never disclude anything, however remote.
The fact that you boyfriend does, simply means that it is an odd coincidence, nothing more.

no i dont think so. but thats a little bit of a biased opinion, im not a big believer in spirituality and such. if you think about it, you would realise it isnt possible.. it would open a huge can of worms like; if i thought about my son being gay would he be??? these things are genetic or in some cases very unlucky. if u blame this on urself should parents of children with diabetes be blamed??

No, please dont be silly... emotion does affect an unborn child though... but not in severe cases like this. The emotion of a pregnant woman only affects the unborn child in the same way- emotionally...

Wish i could help more

No, I do not believe you could effect your babies genetic code with your thoughts. Do not feel guilty over your child's affliction. God would not punish your child for your mistakes.

Oh you poor darling. I'm afraid it is unlikely to be a spiritual thing. These events just happen sometimes. I bet you are a wonderful mother however.
