wife: why wouldn't i question science? that's the foundation of science. The foundation of religion is NOT to question.

I would question the fact that you have a bank in Nigeria.

I question religion and faith all the time, but I always keep coming back to the same answer, Jesus.

Brendan, do you question science, or do you take it on fact? Are you aware of all the times that scientists have deliberately faked their results to get what they wanted? Do you think that because Christians admit their agenda means that no one else on the planet has one? Come now, let us reason together.

EDIT: So that does mean that you do, or do not question scientific findings? A quick search of "scientific frauds" should make my point. And no, the foundation of Christianity is not "do not question." In the books of Acts, take the story of the Bereans for example. Paul said it was accounted to them for righteousness because when he shared his the truth with them, they went home every night and tested his words against the scripture. We are told to question, to research, to study and to mediate upon issues. No one should have "blind" faith.

EDIT EDIT: So, Martin Luther said that, okay. And? He was also very antisemitic too. Guess what? He also wasn't the Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, and everything a human being says should be taken with big helping of salt since we are all sinners. What has Jesus Christ ever said that offended you so much Brendan?

Like believing that the chair you're sitting in will hold you up? What, you've never questioned that?

I don't accept that I believe anything I have not questioned, and established to be true.
