People believe they will go to heaven, because they were raised that way, the more strict the religious upbringing, the more you are inclined to follow that belief (or turn atheist because you loathed hearing about it every day of your childhood years).

God does not make everyone like the same things, to be technical, a lot of people like chocolate in many forms, I loathe chocolate, and prefer strawberry and etcetera.

The day that I will ever turn my back on the Mother Goddess and aknowledge that there is only 'One True God' is the day that I will throw myself into the middle of peak-hour traffic in the middle of the CBD.

Scripture says we will recognize people in the earth made new, and that we will be recognized. There will be no trace of sin, but I imagine that many of our peculiarities will be resurrected with us. --- When we die we do NOT go to heaven, but to the grave, awaiting the resurrection!
