Yes, but I would dye it medium brown first, just to be on the safe side.

If you're going to do it yourself then i agree with the first guy you should do it gradually lighter like a medium to light brown but its still probably gonna have a reddish tint to it...another step you could do would be to dye it a brown and then a few weeks later after you have given your hair conditioning treatments put some heavy high lites in it.me being a professional hairstylist i dont trust products that just anyone can buy at the store because you really never know what color your hair will turn out..if you want to be on the safe side go to a salon...going from a dark color to a light color can be very hard and complicated not only could your hair turn a funky color but it could also fall out...and if you do decide to do it at home try to avoid getting any hair color that has the word ash in it...that will just give you a greenish/grayish tent to your haircolor...

You could use a hair color remover first - your hair should turn a light orange or butter color if you do it right. Then you can dye it any color you want and it will look nice. It's not that hard to do I've done it before but there is always the chance that you could completely ruin your hair so be careful! If you can you should just go to a salon.

It is very difficult to go from red back to blonde. I tried and had pink tones a couple times. You could try a color remover, except that will still give you roots, which nobody likes. Best advice I could give is to let you hair go a couple months, and let the red fade before you go back to the blonde.

Just have it bleached blonde.

Do not dye it too much, you will damage your hair a lot.

Bleach is very strong, its stronger than dye as it strips away colour in order to lighten it.

Get a hair colourist to do it. Don't do it yourself.

Do not dye it then bleach it, you will seriously damage your hair that way.

Instaed bleach it blonde - get a good hairdresser to do it- it will be fine. It's not a problem for a good colourist, so relax :)

wait a couple of weeks to dye it again and don't try to make it fade or it'll dry your hair out. Pick a shade of hair dye that is closest to your natural hair color and let it grow out. You can't do anything immediately to get rid of it without ruining your hair. Hope this helped.

color does not lft color. in other words, if you try to color your hair blonde over a darker color, it will not lift to the desired lightness and you will have an unwanted color. your best bet is to do a heavy highlight. go see a professional or you may screw up your hair as bleaching agents can be harmful to hair and may still result in unwanted shades of blond. if you insist on doing it yourself, buy a home highlighting kit and follow the directions to the LETTER. good luck.
