Something my Pop used to say:

"Tears are strength from the Lord."

It's not a Bible verse, at least not one that I can find. It may be a saying that comes from knowing that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness... and when are we weakest? When we are crying... at least it seems that way... and like Paul said, "When I am weak, then I am strong." I imagine he meant strong in God's strength. Jesus rules.

All my best to you. I hope it helps.

I just thank God that I survived the day and that I will live to see the next day. Some times a really bad day can carry over into the next because I'm still thinking about what happened. But time and prayer has a way of making things fade until only what's good remains. Then I find real joy in knowing that all bad things must pass, but what's true and beautiful can never be taken from me.

After a really bad day, try saying this: "Lord, I want to thank you for this awful day because without you, I would have no day at all".

I went thru two years of the worst days of my life when my husband was dying of cancer Roses were always an important part of our relationship We were worried that he would not live long enough to see the roses bloom that we had planted by the front porch. We checked them every day. One day at the end of FEBRUARY , without warning, there was a HUGE yellow rose on the bush. Just one. I learned during that time, that each day passes, and not to dwell on what went wrong today, tomorrow, when you least expect it, you will get a rose. (We were living down in Texas at the time and the weather was warm)

usually... Yahoo! Answers. lol.

Little things usually give me hope... knowing that ill come home in the evening to my little boy and knowing that he wont stop smiling for me, he'll always lift my spirits if im down or stressed.

Sometimes, just knowing my favourite soap is on in the evening, and looking forward to it gives me hope.

I know it sounds daft... but thats my way of doing things... take each day as it comes... dont think about tomorrow unless you have to.

I hope this "bad day" doesnt completely put you off life... :)

At the risk of sounding like Scarlet O'Hara, tomorrow's another day.
All trouble is temporary. We're all stronger than we think we are. Even after the worst day, if you can look at yourself in the mirror and say "I did the best I could, and I didn't blow up the planet," you've succeeded.

3 years in the past. i grew to become into in a motor vehicle twist of destiny. i grew to become into in a stopped mini van and have been given hit by an F350 that grew to become into doing fifty 5 in a 25 who had a completely loaded landscaping trailer on the lower back and a plow hitch on the front. i grew to become into interior the midsection seat next to a 9 month previous and had only taken my seat belt off to get her bottle. i finished up doing a somersault by the two front seats and by some probability the passenger air bag went off at precisely the comparable 2d as i could have been going interior the process the windshield. of course somebody grew to become into masking my a$s, if not i could have been ineffective.

it might sound weird but I take comfort in the fact that in less than 100 years time I will be worm food, so will everyone I've ever known, and none of my stupid worries or hangups will matter.

It is also a reminder to make the most of the short time we're allotted on this bizarre rock flying through space.

I usually ponder these things on a nice walk through the woods, which also cheers me up.

I close my eyes and try to sense my self.... the feeling of being (wether its a soul or all the energy that comprises my body); just tuning into that self validity seems to make everything else less relevent.

1. Tomorrow HAS to be better than today - it can't be worse.
2. Why worry about tomorrow, when God is already there?
3. As my mother used to say when she was alive, "It will all work out". I used to go "yeah, yeah, yeah" when she said it, but now I find she was right!
