I am 25 years old and I am married to a guy in the Army. I have two children and we all live on base. Any ways, I was handing out candy at Halloween when in was 20 degrees out and raining, when my male neighbor comes and stands on my porch to talk to me. He talked to me for three hours. Then I was handing out Christmas gifts for my neighbors and he invited me to drink with him and some friends. I said okay, I'll be right back. He asked me, "Promise?" What is this guy's deal?

hey i resent the indication that all the others who have wrote say he wantws to get in your pants - he could just be bored and wanting friendship.
he's your neighbour have you ever considered its the friendship thing? and if your talking to him on your porch for 3 hours then obviously your looking for a friend or a lover too

My opinion is you have crossed the line. You shouldn't have stood there and talked to any man that is not your husband for 3 hours. Also, by going into his home sends a signal that its all good. If you thought that everything was cool when he said "Promise" he clearly was telling you otherwise. You should have changed your mind right then and there and never entered his space. Think for a moment, if your husband was doing all this with another woman...how would you feel. You crossed the line and should look in the mirror to figure out why. Lastly, I like to know where your husband was for this three hour conversation...Have you talked to him about this...I think you should.

To save your own *** I would tell your hubby. The way you are describing what happened makes me think he is a little creepy. You don't want this guy to turn around and say things that will ruin your marriage.
