You can take a pregnancy test as soon as you think you may be pregnant. However the reason you should wait until you have missed your period is because the test is looking for a pregnancy hormone product from the embryo and if you test too soon you may receive a false negative. Try not to stress yourself too much over it, because stress can cause you to be late or skip a period as well. I hope this comes out the way you hoped. Good Luck

No you dont. A lot of tests tell you up to four days before a missed period.
If you miss a period it is more accurate than doing an early test, so it might show up negative but it could be positive. You rarely get a false positive.

It would be advisable to wait for a missed period before you take the test, as stress can also affect your hormones it can vary the results so it would be better to wait awhile, also look for signs of painful br-e-a-sts ect.... these are some sighns of pregnancy all the best

you dont have to wait until your missed period. in some cases, women still have their periods during pregnancy.
if you had unprotected sex, and you have a feeling of being pregnant, you most likely are. in many studies, women who "had a feeling" are correct that they are pregnant.. call it a six sense.
also, i would either go to the nearest drugstore and buy a pregnancy test if you're trying to keep this low-key. if you're comfortable in talking about this with your parents, or your loved one, i would suggest going to a center, Planned Parenthood, but its a place you go to get information about sex, adivce, birth-control methods, and of course pregnancy tests.
good luck, hopefully, if you're still young.., that you are not pregnant. if you are pregnant, then make a mature decision as to whether you want to have the baby or not. there's abortions and adoptions you may do, but each come with many consequences. don't make the decision alone, call a counselor, your loved one, or your family and friends to help you. you shouldn't do this alone..

No, if you go to a planned parenthood or other medical clinic, the tests that they use can detect pregnancy hormones within two weeks. Over the counter tests are not this sensitive though.

It's best to wait to see if your gonna get your period and try not to be stressed because this can delay it longer.. If it doesn't come on time then even wait a week after, after that then get the pregnancy test...

No you can be tested before. But a Dr. won't want to see you until you are 6 to 8 weeks late, maybe a little more.

My opinion is definite you may desire to attend. Too many instances unpredicted issues ensue like very early miscarriages and whatnot and in those circumstances it somewhat is extra appropriate to no longer have popular approximately it simply by fact there became into no longer something you could desire to do approximately it. I waited 14 days after overlooked era previously I examined and that became into incredibly precise.
