I assure you that no bank will give you a loan with the bad credit history. Go to a debt consolidation center. They will consolidate your bills so you will only have to make one payment and often can reduce or eliminate the interest that you have to pay. Once this is done you will be in a better position to pay for other fees since your money will be in control.

Check out this link for a consumer credit counseling center near you. Good luck.

Not a chance on a loan. Best bet is to see a credit counselor. They are in the phone book and your bank can refer you to one, if needed. What they can do is get the credit card companies to freeze the debt or decrease the debt slightly and this makes it a bit easier on you. They can also assist with negociations with the court and discuss your credit situation. It works better coming from a knowledgable 3rd party rather than just you saying that. These companies will take your earnings and give you a set amount to live on and use the rest to cover the bills. They do charge a fee for this. The upside is that this doesn't hurt your credit and can actually help it.

Visit www.prosper.com and tell your story there.....for $1500, if you can show lenders why you are a good risk to repay, and can offer a relatively high interest rate, you might get funding.

You might also get an additional credit card....but if you have $7000 in credit card debt, and not much more credit limit, that may be unlikely.

A bank is unlikely to make an unsecured loan - the way banks lend money unsecured is through credit cards. That shouldn't discourage you from trying....but it is not likely that a bank will give you a personal loan in your current situation.
