Do all departments have it? What are the requirements what training do you go through? What are your responsbilities?

I can't see why it wouldn't be the same as a full time RCMP, but you just don't work full time. But I might be wrong, it has been known to happen before.

Most police deparment have a reserve division. A reserve officer have to go through the same training as a regular officers, have the same responsibilities as a regular officer while on duty.

As on who retired from 27 years of law enforcement, why would you want to be a reserve police officer? Do you realize the potential for being sued for everything you own, facing criminal charges if you make a mistake, and the stress of dealing with the scum of society, all because you are a Wanna-Be? Please, find another hobby!

The best way to find out is to check with your local PD or Sherriff's dept and ask them about the requirements and what all needs to be done for you to join

Go to your local book store they have books on it or the internet or even walk into your local police deprtment they are happy to help you with questions like this
