The Challenger in the SRT8 versions will rocket which will have the 6.1L hemi and 425HP. The Challenger should be faster in the 1/4 and 0-60mph than the new Chargers, 300's & Magnum's based on Curb Weight.

They will also be placing in the 5.7L Hemi which will be the RT version and will have 340HP. If you want to order a SRT8 version you better head to your dealership now and get your name on the list. I placed my name back in August 2006 as well as $10,000 (refundable) to get my name in a draw for 3 SRT8 models coming to our dealership. The names will be drawn from a hat and the winners get to drive away in there SRT8.

Dealer manager has told me to expect the Challenger SRT8 to be coming to the showrooms around Feb 2008 or later!

It looks slick and is more retro styled than the Charger...it will come stock with hopefully 400 horses...aftermarket tuners will find a way to bring it closer to 500...modern techology...with ECU could make it a monster...if done right...

I think it's great. The automakers are getting back to what real car guys like. Two doors and a lot of horsepower.

it better if they want to compete with the mustang or corvette depending on price. they still look good, who knows you could always get one and wedge an old 440 or 383 under the hood

This is what they should've done to the Charger instead of the hack job they did.
