Drippings are what is in the pan after you cook a piece of meat. It's mostly fat, but there is a lot of flavor in the drippings, so it's often used to make gravy, and other things.

J S knows what she is talking about. Any type of meat drippings are the drippings at the bottom of the pan after you cook the meat.

Add some water, bullion, and cornstarch or flour..and you have an *awesome* homemade gravey that totally ROCKS!!!!

beef dripping is all the juice's that is left in the pan after roasting.
it's made out of the fat and the water , blood in the meet.

yes,it is mainly fat but a lot more too,it contains concentrated juices from the joint,little bits of mean from the surface that have separated during roasting.The excess fat is drained before making a wholesome gravy loaded with flavour.
