I am so sick of the whole neocon, democrat, zionist thing. Its getting really old. All we hear is the democrats saying we need a new direction, and we hear the republicans saying what plan do the democrats have? Its so effin boring. There will never be peace in iraq, and it has nothing to do with us, but we are there, so deal with that. I did my time in iraq, i didnt like it, but i went and did my duty as a soldier. Stop with your political party bickering and start coming together, otherwise, we, as a country, are screwed.

The bottom line now, for whomever is in power neocon or not, is that Iraq will be responsible for their own affairs. Their government will be held responsible to bring sectarian violence under control, build up their military and police forces, bring different Islamic sects and Kurds together, & to decide who to ally themselves with in whatever alliances they choose. It's their destiny, not our's to choose. I believe Bush cares & even tho' I'm not a Republican, he has admitted major mistakes. I have been opposed to the Iraq War from the beginning, but I do believe Bush wants to find the fastest way out of his mess as soon as possible. He knows his legacy is at stake, too. As for Cheney I think he's unethical & is abusive of his power as vice-president. I don't have much use for Richard Bruce Cheney and haven't from years ago when he was in congress. He's a shyster. As for the forgotten war in Afghanistan, there was a clear-cut purpose for going there and dismantling the Taliban and terrorist training grounds, plus attempts to find Bin Laden. I support that portion of foreign policy, but as for Iraq, our role is finished. The job is done. Saddam is gone. Iraq has a democracy.

If we the people stand up to the issues and sue for a change in our rules of engagement, then yes they can. We need to drop the Geneva convention thing, declare war, and make it so bad for those who wish to keep fighting that they become the ones to sue for peace. If they are vicious, then we need to be more so. So far as the Zionist thing is concerned, I think Israel should be turned loose to do as they see fit for their own self defense. If they choose to pre-empt Iran, let them, and cheer them on. We the people should do more for ourselves so that the Arab sources of oil are no longer cost effective. We the people could do a lot more but we the people, over all, are to weak, lazy and spineless to pay the costs needed to make America free of foreign oil. We'd rather sit around and whine when things get a little uncomfortable. Little wonder that many countries do not respect us. It isn't so much our government as it is "we the people of the United States".

They only have a sincerity to spread lies to the world, which does not result in peace.
