My friend is dating an older guy. She is 18 and still a virgin and wants to know how you think he will react when he finds out? do guys like that or does it send them running for the hills?

I think it is great that she still is I think more of us should be like another one said on here about waitting till married and marring another virgin I also believe that too I have heard alot about that also and I have also heard that married people have a better and sex life and enjoy it more so why not just wait till your married for it is something specail and it is something that you can NEVER get back so good for her for still waitting tell her to not give it up because I know most of the time most people when it really comes down to it they regret it if they think about it real hard and are honest with them selfs about it

Will depends on the guy and his intentions towards her. If he really cares about her and wants to be in a relationship with potential for more, he will be truly excited about the fact that he might be the one and her first.
If he is a callous user that only wants sex, it is a mixed bag...he might be excited at the possibility of de-flowering her to put another notch in his self-esteem/worth belt then afterwards, run for the hills, or if just run for the hills when she tells him.
Either way, if she tells him, she will know more by his reaction and response what his intentions are and if he is even worth wasting her time dating.
In the long run, if two people don't have the same values, priorities and goals, the relationship is doomed. Even thought it hurts in the short-run to find out the person you thought was right for you isn't, it hurts even more in the long run to waste time with someone not truly worthy.

18 is a perfectly great time to loose ones virginity. Having sex in the middle of high school may create unlikeable gossip. If he really likes/loves her he shouldn't care. My girlfriend was a virgin when I met her at 25. It goes both ways as far as turn-offs vs. turn ons: Sex isn't really fun until the 5th or so time but it's a turn on because she has no expectations and you can teach her! =) But basically she shouldn't give it up unless he's into her, unless she doesn't care about whom her virginity is lost to.

Excessively sensitive guys might run...
A real man, will be whatever she wants him to be - loosing virginity can be a big deal, and a sensitive, good man will do whatever it takes to make it a romantic and sensual experience...
Its really up to the guys personality...
Personally I'd be honored and try to plan something really romantic for her... and if she wasn't ready, wait longer and when she said she felt ready try again... and then back off if she wasn't ready then... when she's ready, it will happen... but it is up to her, and any respectable man will accommodate his would be lovers needs and wants.

blokes seem to run for the hills if some old tart comes up to them and comes onto them. it s nicer to be a virgin, it shows that shes waited until shes ready and for the right person.
if hes worth it it shouldnt bother him, if it does you know hes not worth the bother wait until you find someone that is.

It all depends on the guy...some guys find it interesting, hot, romantic..other guys dont want that responsibility of being her first and are not into dealing with an inexperienced parter because some guys are just shallow like that.

I had a bad experience with that. My 2nd real Bf was 19 and I was 16 , he decided he would "break-,me-in" SO he told me he wanted to finger me which I refused after a while of me saying no he started trying to force things on me, like that and after I told him my body felt different he told me i was "Broken-In". After a long argument, I called off the relationship. If he can't wait leave him alone, that's all they want anyway.

Depends on how the man is. I would hope most guys would like that but if he's the type that wants a female to put out then he'll go running. She should be honest with him up front also and this.

depends on the guy - it is always best to wait until you are married before you have sex - it isn't just being old fashioned, it makes for a better marriage, and a better sexual relationship too - it's better if both people are virgins when they marry. It's hard to tell you why on this little forum - many studies have proven this - it is better.

But make sure shes going to lose her virginity to him because she loves him not just to lose it.
