my computer is tottally messed up, please help?

Question

I was playing a game than than my computer got this huge blue screen saying there was a error and it is shuting windows off to prevent something.

now I can hardly turn my computer on and when i do it takes forever to load and 1/4th of the screen is all black like I can't even see the bar at the bottum.

please help if you have any idea's

lol ha ha sounds like your computer is shot. thats aint no virus its fried up. oh by the way my computer is running nice and smooth

u have not given me the name of the game that u r playing may be if ur playing from a cd the game might have contained a virus. if u have installed the game into ur computer then when u switch on ur computer press F8 key then boot into the safe mode of computer and then uninstall the game and run a antivirus scan on d computer or after pressing F8 key jst goto the option Last Known Good Configuration and boot and do the same above process. If this doesnot work jst make sure that ur BIOS is still working then make CD as first bootable device and the place the XP cd into the drive,reboot,and then repair the partition in which XP is there. if any of these dont work then the last option is try to format ur entire system and installing the Xp again, If this also donot work then consult the company from which u have brought the computer, may be it is a hardware problem of the screen.

A virus perhaps? Log in to "safe mode" by pressing F8 repeatedly while the PC boots. Then choose safe mode from the vaious options. Now run your antivirus software to scan your pc.
