I'm looking for someone who has neat, clean lines, vibrant colors, clean work area, sterilizes tattoo gun and all that. Please tell me who to go to and who to avoid in Oklahoma, past experiences, ect.... I know exactly what I want and where, but haven't a clue as to who to go to. Names and locations (city) would be awesome.
Oklahoma is rather small, so it doesn't really matter where, but I live 30 minutes from OKC if that helps.

Yes, Oklahoma was the last state to make tattoos legal as of last year. Now there are shops open everywhere, but to me the quality of the tatoos here does not look great. Maybe because they are inexperienced??
So I am looking for recommendations for someone who really knows how to give a good looking tattoo in OK. Thanks!

It was written in 2006 sooo keep that in mind while reading it. Don't let the ignorant people bring you down, tattoo's ARE legal in Oklahoma now. I live in California so IDK of any shops, I just had to correct the rude people that were trying to make you feel dumb when they are the ones who are wrong. Good luck!!

Ah, I too have wanted to get a tat in Oklahoma. When I was in the Army I was stationed at Fort Sill, in the Lawton area. (south west,OK) The only tattoo artist you will find will be a scratcher. Or, one who does tats outside of a licensed shop. My best advice would be to travel to Wichita Falls, TX. It is just on the other side of the border, 60 miles from Lawton as I recall. I got my very first tat there. Good luck.

Tattoos are now legal as of last year. Go to Mike Belzel in OKC. He just opened a shop and the guy is great. I know first hand!

find 3 people with tats find out where they got them also .....make sure you get new ink and a new needle ...
