You can "reverse" a perm but you are, in effect, perming it straight. This will leave your hair brittle and in poor condition. I did this once and ended up having my hair cut. See your hairdresser who will advise you.

ok u CAN get chemical straighteners but, and this is a big but, they are incredibly bad for ur hair. they will dry it out and cause major breakage. u will eventually end up cutting it all off anyway. (thats if the chemicals dont cause a reaction that turns ur hair green lol) the best thing u can do is to buy a hairdryer with a comb attachment such as the one u will find pictured at the link below. these are miraculous for straightning hair easily and the effects will last until the hair gets wet again. u could of course use hair straightning irons too but i personally find the comb attachment much quicker and less tricky. I would also reccommend using some kind of heat protective straightning serum or oil depending on what ur hair type is. if u have european hair than serum but if afro hair then I reccommend 'Glamour' dressing cream made by Vine's Biocrin. Last but not least. If u do decide against advisement to use chemicals to straighten ur hair. for gods sake dont use adult strength ones! there are much gentler baby or child strength straightners sold in any afro hair shop for approx £2.50 altho u will need an experienced friend to help u apply it. alternatively u could buy it and take it to ur hairdressers and ask them to apply it for u. that way u can be sure that the chemicals are the gentlest ones. i have had my scalp burned by inept hairdressers before so dont assume that just coz its their proffession that they know what they are doing!!! Hairdressers are notorious for using a one type fits all requirements attitude, and that is rarely the gentle type! However i will stress again that using chemicals is the fools route. hope this helps! =0Þ

Yes you can depending on how long ago you had it permed and what the condition is like now would determine whether to straighten it.If you decide this is what you really want to do i suggest you buy a proper straightner from a wholesaler like sallys cut a piece of your own hair and test it in the solution for 20 mins and see what result you get.If you get breakage dont go there but if it comes out a bit dry go ahead and make sure you buy professional hair repair moisture treatment, do this 2 times a week. This wouldnt be a waste of money with the straightner cream even if you cant use now due to breakage as using the treatments will enable you to retry in a couple of months time if you still dont like it hope this helps.

You can never reverse a perm. Your only hope is to cut it out. If you put a relaxer (chemical straightener) on top a perm your hair will be badly damaged and probably will find out.

the only way a perm could make your hair curly is that in case you have curling rods. with out curling rods there is not any curl. positioned the chemical aspects on your hair yet quite of putting perm rods in for 20-30 min. only brush and brush and brush your hair for the allotted time. What do you think of a opposite perm is. Its the comparable chemical aspects in basic terms you sweep or comb your hair. My sister does this for all time.

Yes you can. You can bye a hair straightener. I wouldn't do it because it dries the hair a lot. Other suggestions: You can comb it straight when you wash it. You cam put an oil treatment in it every two weeks. If it is long tie it back. these suggestions will make it looser but will not straighten it.

Yeah, Just like you can go to a salon to get a perm, you can get it straightened there too.

Sorry, once the chemical is added to your hair, it's in until it either grows out.
