If a person drinks 12 beers on Friday, the alcohol will be out by Monday morning, but the calories will have camped out on his butt, there to stay unless he goes to great pains to evict them! And you know the system, evictions take awhile.

Yes....it take from 36 to 48 hours after a person stops drinking for the body to metabolize it. So IF you don't drink after friday night, then by monday morning there will be no trace of it in the system.
