Learn what your triggers are and calmly talk yourself out of it. Think whay I am upset? What has happened before to cause me to overreact to this? is it rational or irational? What would I tell a friend if this was happening to them? Would I think that their behavior was wrong? After you think about these things it allows you to always be in control of how you feel. Ift can also help you make things happen the way you want them to. You will be clearheaded and able to make better choices. I've done it myself.

You have to be practical in all aspects of life. People generally loves ownself the most and so whenever he/she finds that their impotance is less, or someone teasing them or disagree their views that hurts the heart. But if we can be rational and take the reactions of others in sporting spirit and try to learn more from the world, emotions would certaintly be under control

I'm very emotional too. Sometimes it's not a bad way to be, but when it gets too negative I need a way to calm down. What I learned to do is not try to control it, but pay more attention to the subtle emotions before they get too big. Also when I overreact to something, I just tell myself to get a grip, and it works. It sounds simple but it's just having the awareness of overreacting. This of course is much easier to do when I avoid people who push my buttons. Yoga and meditation are also very good for self awareness.

I'm the same way and always have been. I say embrace your sensitivity, you're probably a very empathetic person and should never be ashamed or embarrased about it. The people who really matter in your life already know you are like this and they still love and like you. It's ok to be emotional.

They had to put me on Welbutrin XL to get my emotions regulated. Good luck, even if it takes a trip to the doctor.

i am very emotional as well, and i cant control it either, sometimes i think im not normal, but i am, and so are you, we just have bigger hearts than other people, and to show our emotions, reguardless if they anger emotions, or emotions of joy, its important to us that we let it be know how we feel.
