and on the other side there are people with a 'baby religion' telling you that it is mythical creatures/ Satan and demons, yet they don't believe in ALL the mythical creatures, just the ones their 'baby religion' copied from ancient Pagan religions and modified to suit their beliefs?

What in your opinion is Astral Travelling really, does a soul exist, or is it all in the mind?

Astral travelling is no more than a lucid dream. I have them all of the time.

It is in the mind, alongside all the other myths and deities..

How do you explain the absolute lack of evidence of predictions? I give such predictions just as much credit as I give Sylvia Browns ;)

I believe a soul exists; at least I feel that it does, infact very strongly, which is really hard to explain, perhaps we can put it as when you meet the certain someone and you just know, that's how I feel it exists or the feeling you get when you first met your best friend; now years later you are still best friends, that type of feeling. That's just my way of thinking, it has nothing whatsoever to do with my religious beliefs or any religious beliefs for that matter.
As for Astral Travelling do I think it exists? Anything is possible, the human mind is a vast as the galaxy in which it resides.

Life is a journey from fear to faith, from a state of certainty or agony to a state of faith or awe. Whichever, it is the richness of the experience that counts. Along with the actually learning. And then their is the knowing and the sharing, the love and the joy.
You are also loved and a member of the best of human life. Do not despair. It is not as it seems.
In fact, we all make it to the promised land! Don't let it get you down to far. Good things and feelings are just around the corner.

Seeing the future is easy for those not bound by the dimension of TIME. TIME is a dimension of our lives, not their eternal ones. That includes angels, good and fallen. The fallen angels that inspired the self-destructive Mayan civilization could see limited visions upto 2012. Psychics can see victims who will eventually be murdered before they can ever get to them. Who do you think is stage-managing that ? But God can see all. He restricts what the evil ones can see. Even they know the Jewish scriptures.and know that there is only a short time left to seduce the proud to destroy themselves, as they have destroyed themselves. You give them pleasure in their self-induced solitary being in the outer darkness, away from the self-revealing light of God.

just what the mind may be capable of is debatable but I do believe some paranormal phenomenon is of natural explanation in the future but not worth very much. Whether in your mind or not i don't think our natural existence has developed any supernatural detection devices as of yet . pure speculation till I see more evidence beyond clever hoaxes or hallucination.
too bad Harry Houdini pasted on ; he exposed them like clock work.He may have been correct and he hasn't returned from the grave either as he wished.

Here's some truth about the Bible people might find interesting - just a little history lesson from an atheist.
Not only did Jesus not write any of the gospels himself, but he has not even taken any pains to preserve the writings of his "apostles." It is well known that the original manuscripts, if there were any, are nowhere to be found. This is a grave matter. We have only supposed copies of supposed original manuscripts. Who copied them? When were they copied? How can we be sure that these copies are reliable? And why are there thousands upon thousands of various readings in these numerous supposed copies? What means have we of deciding which version or reading to accept? Is it possible that as the result of Jesus' advent into our world, we have only a basketful of nameless and dateless copies and documents? Is it conceivable, I ask, that a God would send his Son to us, and then leave us to wander through a pile of dusty manuscripts to find out why He sent His Son, and what He taught when on earth?

I, in an evening of 'lucid dreaming' was convinced that a tugboat was coming out of my stereo system to steal my girlfriend.

Doesn't make it real.

In the mind. I am atheist, and I have had experience like this probably more than people that believe in such nonsense

Well, I think the one thing that us "baby Christians" and the "logical atheists" have in common is that we both think you're off base.

Then, on the other hand, you have GOD, who loves you and is standing at the door of your heart, knocking, right NOW....
