And are their words simply just over-analyzed?

I also never ask "Do I look fat in this?" If we show men that we are confident with ourselves, our sexualities and our bodies and have a lot to give then they will appreciate even more...

THANK YOU!

Finally, a woman who gets it!!

Yes, men simply mean what we say, and we say what we mean!

Unlike women, we don't feel the need to talk in riddles, or to say one thing and mean another!

And we don't overthink stuff like you women do!

We say what we mean, and we mean what we say!

You women should try it - relationships would be a whole hell of a lot easier if you ladies would simply say what you mean and mean what you say!

You present a straw man argument. Atheists do not argue "if there is no evidence it does not exist." The proposition atheists pose is this: if there is no evidence, then there is no reason to believe. One has to keep in mind that humans make up stories all the time and try to pass them off as true. We see this today (Bernie Madoff) and surely it has happened in the past (all dead religions). If someone comes up to your and presents some tale how do you tell if it is true or not? Atheists answer: evidence. If there is no evidence then you have to consider the very real possibility that the tale is utter fiction, however misguided the teller is in believing the tale to be true. And if you cannot separate fact from fiction you have no basis to try and force that tale on others through culture and law. If there is always evidence, as you claim, and god is supposedly omnipotent and cares so much about what we believe that god will punished non-believers with eternal torment then there ought to be mounds of evidence anywhere you look. But there is nothing that uniquely suggests a god. That's pretty damning.

Quite often, this is the case. Most men are plain speakers and there is no hidden meaning in what they say. There are however, exceptions to the rule. For example, when you ask, "does this make my butt look big?" the smart man will say something to the effect of "don't be silly, you look wonderful", even if it isn't true.

Well, yeah, we do tend to over-analyze men's words.
BUT, still, be careful, coz there are guys who use words to manipulate and to please you to supposedly make u feel good, so they get what they want, which is sex. So they dont always *mean* what they say. It depends on the kind of guy, and the context. Use ur instinct.

But if u trust this guy, like this guy, then take it easy and don't over-analyze. It just irks the men :-)).

Men talk in Martian and us gals from Venus cannot understand what they say. They have a language all their own.
