Adolf specifically felt that his programs were "God's Work", but he did not nessecarily want to be a god.
There are a number of disturbing similarities between Adolf and the Christian God, though:
He had a "Chosen People".
He sentenced men women and children to firey "hells" for the sin of not being "chosen".
He sentenced anyone who questioned him to a painful death.
He wanted absolute authority.
He had his own personality cult.
He burned books that held ideas he didn't like.
He hated when people took his name in vain (officers were forbidden to name their dogs "Adolf").
He demanded to be loved as a great and wise leader.
