No. Atheists do not belive in a god of any kind. Gays very widely in personal beliefs, and Catholics have a wide array of different beliefs and subsects.
The only similarities are:
1) They are all human.
2) Conservative Christian groups hate them.
3) Klan members hate them.
4) Protestants disapprove of them.
5) Pat Robertson is allergic to them.
6) Fred Phelps hates them.

Everyone has the right to be what they want to be and to believe/not believe in whatever they wish. Why do Believers always have to label and categorize people??? Being Gay has nothing to do with being Atheist! The three categories you asked about are very different from each other, so, I see no point in trying to find any forced link;)
Personally, the only link I see is that both, Atheists and Gays are discriminated and persecuted by Catholics and , more in general, by Christian bigots;)

That is incredibly stupid. I can only think of it as fundamentalist homophobic crap. And even thinking from a homophobic point of view those 3 still can't be lumped together as Catholics are really, really Christians. I'm not Christian myself, but I live in a mostly Eastern Orthodox Christianty/minority of Catholics country. US fundamenatalists don't get to judge older denominations like they are the only ones who hold the truth, they are like kindergarden kids in the scope of history. XD

Unless you're talking about a Gay Atheist Catholic.., no. Its not the same thing.
However - An atheist, a gay person or a Catholic needs to repent of their sins and accept Jesus (not Mary not another same sex partner, or nothing) and be saved.
The sin of one is as great as the other. The chiefest sin of Catholics are bowing knee to statutes (idols) and dividing God into 3 separate persons. No trinity doctrine was ever taught in the early Church. The Trinity Concept was developed and formulated by Tertullian about 200 years AFTER the birth of the Early Church and was accepted only in the Roman Catholic church about a century after Tertullian's invention of the Trinity concept.
