Ok so me and my boyfriend have been having problems latley and i found pics of his ex girlfriends.When i asked him to get rid of them he didnt really want to by the way he was acting but eventually he did.Should I still be mad?I also found out that when we were talkin not officailly together he had sex with one of his exes do i have a right to be upset?Please help...

Okay, the pictures. He shouldn't be expected to throw them away. They represent memorable times in his life. Asking him to forget about his past or the people he was involved with is asking too much. About the sex with the ex... I'd be upset about that. That was a pretty shallow thing for him to do when you were getting to know each other.

It sounds as though the real issue is trust. You seem to be having a difficult time trusting him, perhaps even before finding the pictures. Asking about emotions is tricky. Regardless of what anyone answers, you will continue to feel the way you do. If the pictures and find out that he slept with his ex while you were talking bothers you, then it is a problem. The next step is to talk about it with him in a rationale mature way. If he refuses to communicate or if you still feel that you can not trust him, then you should end the relationship.

You have the right to be sad, happy or any way that you truly feel. First you should ask yourself why you are feeling mad. If the photo's you had found were of a stranger from Playboy would you have had the same reaction? You are probably mad because you think that he is keeping the photographs as a reminder of happy times and you don't like to think that he could be happy without you. he truth is that those photo's probably do record happy times but they are past and now he is with you. What do you want to do, wipe his memory as well?
I am similar to you and used to be upset that my wife keeps photo's and souvenirs from her life before me and that she had sexual experience before meeting me. Only time, love and trust helps you to get over these feelings but understanding that your wife or girlfriend / boyfriend are with you because they choose to be rather than as your prisoner makes the whole thing seem a little ridiculous.

I'd be more sad/worried to find out that he had sex with an ex while you two "weren't officially together"! As for the pictures, I'll admit I would feel jealous, but there's not really a reason to be upset or get angry with him. It's just pictures..
