Rom 2:12 The Gentiles do not have the Law of Moses; they sin and are lost apart from the Law. The Jews have the Law; they sin and are judged by the Law.
Rom 2:13 For it is not by hearing the Law that people are put right with God, but by doing what the Law commands.
Rom 2:14 The Gentiles do not have the Law; but whenever they do by instinct what the Law commands, they are their own law, even though they do not have the Law.
Rom 2:15 Their conduct shows that what the Law commands is written in their hearts. Their consciences also show that this is true, since their thoughts sometimes accuse them and sometimes defend them.
Rom 2:16 And so, according to the Good News I preach, this is how it will be on that Day when God through Jesus Christ will judge the secret thoughts of all.

To me, Paul is right. If there is no law there is no sin. For those who haven't heard of it, they follow the law of their hearts, and God will judge them by that.

In my religion, no you would not go to hell. You would be way, way better off than someone who had heard the word of God, believed (that's the key word) it but then was a terrible person.
We believe that hell isn't really a "pit" used to punish. It's the pain of regret, guilt and torment from what you did in life that you shouldn't have (that you didn't sincerely repent of, and stop doing). If you did the best you could based on what you were taught in your life, then how could you be racked with regret, guilt and torment in the hereafter?

The word God is a title not a name. There are many false gods, but only one living true God. He is the almighty God of the universe and the rightful ruler of the universe including the earth. It is important to distinguish the true living God from all the false gods worshiped on earth. The best way to come to know the true God; the grand blessings for mankind, and how this affects you is by praying for His blessing to reveal himself to you and by reading the Bible daily. God Bless You.

Those that hold fast to the doctrine that one cannot be saved without Christ (John 3:18) ignore the fact of the next verses.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
But he that doeth truth, cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they were wrought in God. -John 3:19-21
Jesus will judge our hearts and our deeds, not our religious affiliations.

This is a common question that completely misapprehends the concept of judgment: people aren't punished for not believing, people are punished for breaking G-d's laws. These laws are communicated through nature, not simply through the word of G-d. So everyone who will be punished will be punished for what he knows and didn't obey, not for what he doesn't know. "To whom much is given much more shall be required."

*And if it really bothers you that much, maybe you should tell them. Here are all these poor people and you'd rather sit here and argue with us than do anything to help them! But you won't, you say, because you don't believe. This very question is one of the reasons you won't believe. In other words, you don't believe because of the hypothetical people you won't help! What a strange person.

my sisters fiancees smuggles bibles there. God doesnt leave His people. We need the word like food, but for our soul. first, God searches the heart. He knows who thirsts for His Word. second, there is a mass revival in china, but underground. you never know....I think God is greater than anything on this earth, and can do anything, even beyond my own knowledge or anyone else's. i think He is bigger than anything I could comprehend. so, I really dont think that being a "good person" gets you anywhere because we all know that no man is perfect, just societally more acceptable.

God would not hold anyone responsible for believing in Jesus Christ who never even heard of Jesus Christ. That would make no sense at all. The bible does say however "all of creation speaks of the existence of God that no man has excuse". Before the death of Jesus on the cross, the people of the "old testament" times were saved by their faith in the one true God. God is perfect in His justice and mercy. No one, absolutely no one, will end up in hell accidentally.
