Yes you can. At most Vet Clinics it will only cost about $45 dollars depending on which one you go to. I would call around and get prices first. In some states they offer free spay and neutering to people who can't afford it. To see if your state offers this check with the local humane societies. They can help alot. Hope this helps and good luck!

Female cats get spayed not neutered. Yes a cat is never too old to get spayed. It's normally okay to get it done @ around 4 to 5 months of age. There are also low cost ways to do so. Try www.spayGA.com or friendsofanimals.com. Get it done before they get pregnant & bring more unwanted pets into the world.

You can neuter a cat at any age. People try to do it sooner because once they start going into heat, they will always have it to some degree even though they are neutered. It does help with the crazies. Oh, and that pesky kitten thing.

Absolutely! Cats tend to keep coming into heat for much of the year unless they are bred. It is much healthier for them to be spayed. Cats and dogs tend to get mammary and uterine cancers. Spaying prevents this.

yes. PLEASE DO!

Check with local ASPCA or vet for a SNAP coupon for lower cost or free spay/neuter.

Your kitties will needa few days to recover from the 15 minute surgery but they will definitely thank you for the good health and no chance of unwanted kittens and stressful labor.

I believe so. If you are a student or a person on disability, your local dog pound will do this surgery for very little. Try to make donations when you can.
