im afraid it wont be easy firstly do you love him does he take his temper out on you if you love him? do you like yourself you are not an axeminster carpet or a mat for someone to walk on please life is to short not worth the stress pain etc i have had several abusive partners and they were all so sorry after losing it like pathetic little boys you shouldnt have to deal with him just pack him in i know easeier said than done but its your life isnt it and he isnt making it very nice for you so the question you asked deal with him in a way that you see fit. dont shout back when he is angry just try and put some space between you until he calms down get him to try anger management it may help.

Why is he upset so easily, its not like you have to deal with any major decisions in your relationship at this stage that causes a lot of stress, I just assume that you're only dating. If he's always hot tempered then he's not easy to convince of say your opinion on issues, reserve always works as well as talking about things, I always make a note when people are short fused.

You shouldn't have to deal with it, so DON'T, just leave. If he has always been like this, then neither you nor anyone else is going to change him, its a part of his 'make-up', his persona...best you get out now before he goes from 'hot tempered' to boiling.

If he is very hot tempered and likely to hit you then leave him, I've been in the same situation and ended up with my face smashed in, its hard to leave, but its the best thing I ever did

This is not healthy at all. He must either seek help to control his temper because if he hasn't taken it out on you, he will soon. He will lose control and you WILL not can but WILL get hurt in the process.

If he is not willing to seek the necessary help then you must consider leaving him because he is just going to drag you down with him!

Leave him... you can have me instead... Well you know that's joke. In my personal opinion, i don't think you have to engage yourself to a hot tempered BF. Just imagine if you'll get married with him, it might get worse.
