There is not a relationship in the world that will work out if you do not love yourself first. If you do not care for yourself and love yourself and who are you are mentally, physically, and emotionally you will never be able to be in a relationship.
And if a guy is afraid to tell his friends that he likes you then he is not worth your time. I know that it is hard to imagine because you think that you love him, but if he loved you then he would willingly stand up to his friends and tell them how wonderful you truly are!
