how often should you get the ends of your hair trimmed in order to avoid split ends?

Every six weeks but it depends because if you curl or straighten your hair alot your ends split and get damaged quicker.

hair splits when its dry, remember to use moisturizing conditioner, and a deep repair treatment once a week does wonders :) and ofcourse the trim..

When you start to get split ends. I just now got split ends and I havent cut my hair for over a year, so six to 8 weeks is silly and overkill.
