is she fake?

one of my gf's friends dont seem right to me.......im wonderin if shes fake. and wen i say fake i mean like does she talk bout me negatively behind my back. I dont kno i jus gotta feeling that shes a fake person. maybe its a bad first impression but i dont know..........................................................................

Without knowing the situation it is hard question for someone on here to answer. Usually it is best to trust your instincts overall when dealing with others.

But also it is good to give people a chance, since it could be that she was having a bad day, or even that you were that may have had you feeling off when you meet her.

Very often first impressions are the correct ones. yet we rarely know what the background information is on others, what issues, that may be going on that can cause or alter a persons behavior.

I meet one woman once who was a angry miserable person that was the first impression, but in truth she was being emotional and upset, in physical pain and emotionally scared she had just found out she was diagnosed with Cancer. Instead of letting the first impression prevent me from getting to know her, she later became a good friend.

So sometimes it is a good idea to give someone a chance. But you can hold on to some reservations and be cautious when you do.

Maybe she's the type of person who you need to get to know over a longer period. You know those people that once they're comfortable with you they're really great? Like that.

Also - she might just have had an off night, or she might be shy or insecure. There are a lot of other reasons for her to be acting funny besides disliking you.

Try putting in some more effort when you see her, ask her about her life and be friendly to her. Then see how she reacts. If she's still really cold, then don't trust her and steer clear.

I understand what you're saying, not fake like talking bad about you or others, she just tries to be something she's not? I think you should give her the benefit of the doubt and learn her a little more. At least for your girlfriends sake. If you do get to know her you might find out that she's a really nice person, or you'll find out that she really is fake.

You could play a childish role and put something out as a decoy to just see if it comes back around, test her to see where she takes it.Then confront her to see where she stands.Second depending on how long you known her, you as a friend should know if your friend is being frank with you or coy,you feel me.Good luck

Does it really matter if she is talking negatively about you behind your back?

If she is saying bad things about you while talking to your gf, then your gf is probably defending you, so no worries.

ask another mutual friend of both of you.
trust your instinct, if they're avoiding you and you get the vibe, they're probably talkin. also look at yourself, what would you say about you?

the more important question is..do you feel your gf is fake? if not, then regardless of how her friends are, at least she cares.
