Where can I practice talking to girls?

Question

What are short conversation topics or short conversation starters that do not raise expectations for a relationship which is what I fear? I don't want to mislead them so that I don't give them false hope and have later to put up with unwanted interest or cause pain. Anyway, even if I raised 'wanted interest' I wouldn't want to do it, for I don't know how to continue from there. I need only the practice so that when the right woman comes I can talk to her. I fear I have already estranged two 'right' women simply because I couldn't talk to them more than smiling and saying hello (over a period of more than 3 years of opportunities for the first and about 2 years till now for the second). I think I still have an opportunity to develop a relationship with the woman with whom I currently communicate by glances and the occasional hello when we meet by accident or can 'engineer' an accidental meeting. Ok, stop fearing your own powers of heartbreak by conversation so much. If you have a conversation with a woman in a grocery store, I'm sure she will get over it if she never even sees you again. Most people know that even if you ask them out, the majority of first dates don't lead to second dates. It might make it easier to have a conversation with a woman if you think of it as just a conversation, period. Start by practicing on women you're not even interested in, then you will act like a natural person with something interesting to say, and not like some twerpy pick up guy. The way to talk to a woman is basically the same as the way to talk to a man. It always helps to start with a question, but one that needs more than a one word answer. Once you figure out how to act normal you can try approaching a woman you're attracted to.

Man, I think this can be very simple, depending on which side of the world you are, you can make yourself some simple business like cards with your name and contact details, very simple and colorful, Take ten whenever you leave home and when at a grocery store or park in town wherever, just say hi, I am John, I ve seen you around for sometime now and I was just wondering if you can drop me an email or phone call when ever you can. Talk about work and things that are not too personal. If your conversation leads into "so do you have a girlfriend?" Just say something like "no, I'm not really looking for a girlfriend right now, I have a lot of goals I want to accomplish, but if I meet the right girl, who knows." This tells a girl straight out that you're not looking for long-term without losing her interest because in her mind the "possibility" is open, even if it's not. I'm not telling you to lead anyone on, but just be honest without scaring anyone away.

i imagine you purely decide on some practice. next time you flow on vacation and also you don't understand everybody there, verify with as many women as you may. If you really want to practice talking to women and develop confidence doing so, go to a strip club. They will talk to you and make you confident.
Although they're strippers, they're women also and in that environment they have to converse to get your money. I've seen that place help a lot of guys.
