One day last week, I was on a spiritual prayer retreat. After a good day of seeking the Lord and finding Him, I went to bed and slept. After about 30 minutes I woke suddenly and completely. My right am felt "asleep" -- and so I looked down at it, and it was GONE, or, at least I couldn't see it. I looked at my left hand and could see it; and only from my elbow up could I see my right arm. So I called out to the Lord, "what is going on here, help me" and slowly the arm came back into view with pain rising.
And went back to sleep.
Details:
I live in an area where there are many people with missing limbs who beg. So the images of people missing limbs is strong for me.
I live in an area with much strong spirit activity.

I was NOT dreaming, my arm really was asleep.
I wear three bracelets on that arm:
one from an island in the andaman sea; one made of grass from northern thailand tribal village; and a plastic one that says, "we love the king" (in Thai) and, "long live the king" (in English)
not sure if it relates...

You could do no harm by helping the people with missing limbs and ministering to them...,
however .., your dream experience suggests what Jesus talked about..., "if your eye offend you, or your hand offend you..." you get rid of them. An analogy which means there is something in your life that hinders your relationship with God.
You need to find out what it is thats hindering your relationship with God and get it out of your life. Incidentally - are any of those bracelets you are wearing with any kind of symbolisms which you shouldn't be wearing? or maybe you take too much pride in them?
Jewelry may not even have anything to do with it (unless of course they are a source of pride).., it could be something else maybe you have been wondering about, struggling with. Pray about it.

If you had a bad experience with a dog biting you that day really bad, you would be having night mares about it. That is the way of a brain to release stress, sort to speak. Strong emotional outburst focused on a single event will bring dreams to revolve around in one way or another. Say you slipped and fell in the bath tub and nearly drowned. You may have a dream of you being on a ship during a storm and the ship is sinking. Just your way of relating to the bad accident.
Want to get really kinky. Have a book and pen by your bed and write your dreams on pad, when you wake up. Then at the end of the day try to remember them. Now when you cheat and look, then remember what did you do the day or days before that could relate to the dream. Works for me.

I think you had a dream about sleeping and waking to find your arm missing. Could be that possibly you have a different view of people with missing limbs than those who are whole. Possibly a message from your God that it could be you also with a missing limb. Remember next time what Timothy said, "You shall love one another as you love your self and by this love I shall recognize you".

Strange as it seems - I too had a weird dream last night. One that I've never come close to having before.
I dreamt of escaping an African country but before jumping into the car noticed a young, emaciated woman with a broken hip amongst the throng of people.
I picked her up, she was so light - but knowing full well that if I left her there she would die. I carried her to the car. I took her out of the country. I nursed her back to health. She returned to her home country on a mission to help others.
Why am I telling you this? I don't know. But these dreams - even more so - when placed in word form - give me even more desire to one day, and one day soon, fulfil this dream.
And - in that respect - your question here may indeed have proved a catalyst for me to make it happen.
Thank you.

If you are a believer in Jesus and know of the miracles he did then you know nothing was impossible to Him. I think you may in the future see some of these miracles come to pass. It could also be a warning from God...as in losing your left arm but may be symbolism of losing someone near you. Pray about this as God will provide you with the answer. But the best point is that when you experienced this you called out for the one who can answer all your questions (GOD)and that is the most important thing.

Buddhists say that all life's problems stem from the Ego. Maybe you have an altogether too high opinion of yourself and that is why you are experiencing confusion and hallucinatory nightmares. Try taking the self-love down a notch.

Hmmm....sounds like you are connecting one way or another to a certain person, be it someone in your area, or from where you got the bracelets from. It may be, that the person, if that is the case, will find you, and you were given that scenario as a sign of who they are. I could be wrong, but it's worth thinking about.

Just a dream and numbness of the arm. When you sleep on your arm, blood gets stuck and the nerves don't send signals to brain. I have been there. It feels like your arm is not yours; you can't move it, can't feel it. When you touch it with your other arm, it feels like you're touching someone else's arm.

Without more information I cannot say for certain but from what I've read perhaps God is calling you to minister to people who are missing limbs.
Pray about this and seek some good, Godly council on the matter. God bless!

I think, that because of the area you are from & the fact that you see many people who have lost limbs, your dream was a manifestation of a deep rooted fear of ever losing a limb or limbs yourself.
