Instead of skipping lunch, even out your portions during every meal. Don't put all your focus on breakfast.

If you don't like your school food, you should bring your own.

It is best to eat in the mornings and mid day, actually it is best to not at any one time to eat large meals but to have many meals which is not feasible for many with work/school schedules.

It is great that you eat in the morning, and that you have fruit at lunch time. Overall you never want to skip meals. If you don't feel hungry and don't want to over eat then eating the fruit you mentioned is the best thing you can do instead of skipping.

The body's natural response is to expect foods especially during a busy day. When meals get skipped especially breakfast your metabolism will slow down and cause you to gain weight.

So if your biggest meal of the day is breakfast, then still eat something later in the day around lunch time and even dinner. Even a light snack of a piece of fruit, a couple of graham crackers 2 and half to 3 hours prior to going to bed can be a good idea.

Skipping is never a good idea. Skipping meals can bring you more problems, which is why those who cut calories to drastically find it so hard to lose weight.

You do need to reduce calories if trying to lose weight, but not eliminate them.

Since you do eat at 3:30 in the afternoon it might be a good idea to keep eating the fruit at lunch and to also have a light snack of some kind around 6:30 pm. This way there are not to many hours between the last meal and breakfast you don't want your body to into starvation mode. Which it does if you skip meals, then your metabolism slows down. Also can cause a decrease in energy, and lead to other problems later.

I do not think it is right to skip any meal. keep it light. If concerned abt weight, have fruits and salads, but do not skip the lunch.

hmmmmm....you're full pack in the morning
if you still feel full during lunch time then it's fine to skip dining. for as long as you won't skip any meal if you're famish.

why don't you consider packing your own lunch to school. you can always get what you want, there you can add on more calories as that is what you need. =)
