I am 23 & i have never recieved a valentines day present in my life, sometimes i just hate it when valentines day comes around because i never get anything........... is there something wrong with me, Im not a fast girl - I dont date lots of guys, I've been told loads of times I'm pretty, so whats the problem that no guy even wants to give me a rose on valentines day.

I'm in the same boat. I've only been given something from a male once. He was my boyfriend at the time and it was last year. That was the first and only time I've been given something and the only time I had a boyfriend for the holiday.
However, I wouldn't look at Valentine's as a horrible day because you aren't given something. I would look at it as a day of celebration that you are single and pretty. lol Seriously. I'm told I'm pretty too, and I still don't get anything out of it. Instead I try to hang out with my other single friends, or make myself a homemade meal and rent a movie. I'd rather be in than out with a bunch of couples that had reservations at all the restaurants in town. That would make me sick. lol
Just keep in mind that someday, if you let it happen, you will have someone that will be there every Valentine's Day with you and you'll even have an anniversary to get things for eachother. Cheer up!

If you're not in a serious relationship with a guy around Valentines, then maybe that's just it. You need to be involved with someone long enough for a guy to want to give you something as a gift for Valentines.
Otherwise, have you ever stated to any of the guys you like, that this was your wish?

I wouldn't worry about it - if you are that concerned maybe drop a few hints to some of the guys you know saying "I have never recieved a Valentines I wish someone would send one to me"

its okay! i never really got anythign to valentines day either. except lat year and the year before,, i had a bf for over 2 years and he brokw up with me on sunday =[(im extremely depressed and upset.)
i heard someone call it "singles awarness day" there isnt anything wrong with you! there is just no special someone at the moment. i think valentines is a stupid holiday anyways! its just another day.. you can give anyone roses flowers or chocolates any day fo the week! but my bf never gave me roses.. he did twice.. but that was it!
dont be sad! maybe you will be surprised this year. dont bum yourself out over a lame holiday!

Maybe guys are shy or they just assume that someone else is your valentine. Don't take it so hard. Maybe this year or next some guy will get you a present.

well, do you go out? b/c in order for you to get a valentines gift you have to look around too....is just not the guys looking for girls....you have to look for them too...there's no problem here.....just give it time, you will meet someone:)
