Write me a persuasive essay on this topic:

Your friend has offered to give you two free concert tickets to hears your favorite band, but the convert is on a weeknight. Try to persuade your parents to allow you to go to the concert.

Remember, your audience is your parents. Bear in mind that they only want the best for you and your safety. Also, appeal to their logic and feelings! Good luck! ...this is not homework, for all of you criticizers out there! I SERIOUSLY want your opinion! I am level 2, almost level 3, and I have NOTHING to do!

In my family, we really interact this way. It's the way we've worked hard to try to respect each other and also give kids freedom to be kids...they have been great about not breaking the trust we give them...(I'm the mom of 4 kids who are the bomb and get tons of freedom because I know they won't act like idiots) They beg sometimes just like other kids, but for the most part we work things out. I give, they give...it's a good thing. Hope you like my letter.

Dear Mom and Dad,
My friend Joe gave me tickets to the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert that I've been wanting to go to. I'm really excited about it and I'd like to talk to you about it.
The concert is on a Wednesday at Reliant Stadium. I know it's a school night and it's a long way to drive...I know it's asking a lot from both of you.
I would like to negotiate a deal with you both.
I have been Honor Roll each 6 weeks this year except one when we had the introduction to algebra. I haven't miss many days this year, and you know I study and work hard to keep my standards high in school.
I haven't been too hot in the "chore department" lately, I know. I will work on that and improve. It's hard to be in High School now and still be inspired to do chores.
If you would please let me go, I will be responsible and pay attention to whats going on around me and stay safe. I'll also come straight home and get right to bed. Nathans mom said she would drive us. I know you trust Nathan and it would be just like the other stuff we go do together, we'll have each others back. I promise to keep my phone with me and answer if you call. I won't be able to hear during the concert, but I'll check my text messages halfway through. I'll call you when we get there and then when we're on the way home.
I've been a pretty responsible 15 year old and my birthday is in March...this would make an awesome early gift.
Please think about it and let me know as soon as you decide.
love,
Aaron

I've done my homework, I got straight As, what more could I do to persuade you to letting me go to this concert? If you don't give me permission, don't expect me to do homeworks or get As.

I don't need to convince my parents of anything since I'm an adult and I'm allowed to go out and do stuff. Ta-da.
