Cheap Remodeling?

Any cheap remodeling tips? I want my room to look contemperary, nice and simple. Where can I buy this stuff for cheap? Is it hard to install track lighting?

you should check out the site at hgtv....they have a show on called design on a dime...that deals with what you are doing..and all the information (and how to) is on their web site..

I'd try IKEA they have some good deals...or garage sales, thrift stores, you can find lots of unique stuff!! and like she said...try the website, specially look for "Design Remix" they do re-designs for less than $50
