Alright, this question again. :P So I've got a Windows XP notebook, which I usually use for school stuff. But then I can't play games or use some good softwares to make music. Buying a new computer crossed my mind. Mac is definitely cooler (the way it looks) than PC. However after reading some websites, people said PC has the best adaptability with things around us, and also because many more people use PC. Buy at some point, I want to try the way Mac works, and gain the coolness of it, maybe it is better than PC, I don't know. But some people said I cannot upgrade a Mac, is that true? From what I heard, Mac has the advantage in multimedia things, like playing games, creating music and images Well, bottom line, please help me, which one is better for my requirement. Also by judging things you think are important. Windows or Macintosh? Vista looks alright to mee too (after some reading), but OS X Tiger seems cool too. :P Cheers.

i have been using windows for several years and haven't had spyware in probably 4 years. I also have never had a virus. I had to do a job for 3 months where I used a mac every day.. I thought the experience was horrible. Seriously, how do they expect someone to be productive with one mouse button. It's insane.
These people that hail macs are delusional and cult-like. They pony-up for extremely high priced hardware and instead of admit to a poor purchase, they live in denial and spend the rest of their lives promoting the almighty Mac to the world, by saying it's the "cool" thing. While their subconscious is hoping that they are not the only ones who are willing to trade their money for garbage.
How can anyone say a Mac is a better gaming platform??? what are you playing? footsies!?
And by the way, microsoft prototyped the vista interface before os ux came out.
Not that I like microsoft as a company. Their business practices are evil, but apple is not much better. I would use Linux if everything ran on it, like it does windows.

Mac would be a better choice for the things you want to do. However, I found that some sites are only accessible through Windows. Mac does have a Windows program made for Macs but I don't know how it works as I haven't installed it yet. You can upgrade to whatever computer you want. Mac would be the ideal computer for you. It is an excellent computer for Multimedia projects so, come on over to the other side.

Mac is the way to go. No viruses. Plus, the programs for games and video are so much better. If you use windows on PC you are more prone to get viruses.

widows vista is an imitation of mac os X, u should get a mac, wait for leopard if u can, it is so cool!
