He is either interested in pursing a relationship or is using you to make the "former" girlfriend jealous and trying to get her back by showing her what at catch he is if you bite the bait.
I would think for the former than the latter except the ex-girlfriend in involved. If she was an ex he didn't care about or just care about as a friend, he would simply not mention you because he would not want to deal with her drama if she still might have feelings for him...guys avoid feeling and drama whenever they can. Sin by omission and not saying anything is cool in a guys book.

because each body is racist. i'm white and that i had a black female chum for at the same time as who grow to be very pleasing and after shall we dangle out black adult adult males ought to offer me nasty looks for all time. for sure they were questioning "how come this white boy is going out with this superb black female" even regardless of the reality that we were purely friends. The tangled up element is that if she wasn't pleasing they probable would not care.

Don't worry about the other girl, thats her own problem....But guys do sometimes leak their own personal interest to somebody else who he knows... like his close friend that you know or just plainly somebody who he thinks that can do the "Bridgework" for him. The goal is to get his point across...Maybe he's chickened out,...or that's just how he handles himself. Either way, It makes his job easier. It's either you make a move on that or wait until he confronts you personally....
