use them.. the dvds/cds and toys... all of my children loved those.. and the ten, eight, four, three, one yr olds all still love the cds/dvds... the older ones like to try the different languages...

the baby einstein cartoon is alright.. I see it holding the interest of my four yr and once in a while the three yr old.. but not my one yr old.. and the older ones like to only make fun of it...lol.. and disrupt the little ones out of boredom...lol.. :)
they are a great series in my opinion

My little boy didn't show any interest in them which bummed me out because I thought the video's were cute. He does like the little Einsteins though and he watches is every once in a while, he loves blues clues though.

i think its bad for a baby under 2 to watch any kind of videos. i think they need to learn about the world through playing with toys ,exploring and from interaction with their parents.

i think for children over 2 limited and supervised tv is fine. so the baby einstein would be a use em for u. under 2 is a lose them.

My one year old LOVES the little einstein tv series.....I hadn't given it any special consideration, but she stops everything she is doing to listen to the music and watch the characters' faces.

I have einstein toys, and she plays with them just like any other.
I got her "the music show" video when she was about 3 months old, and she liked to watch and listen too....but I LOVED it myself!

Love them. yet i really loved sitting and watching with both one of my females. i really trust that it helped their language progression enormous time. They inspired my females to talk and be wide awake of toys and issues taking position, and silliness. i'm particular that some video clips an afternoon can not be a nasty element, in the adventure that they are watched with the toddler. it may truly help you hit upon a thanks to search for suggestion from with the toddler, even as otherwise one might want to experience stupid talking to an toddler. It promises the potential to call the images of issues that are established to the toddler. in spite of the undeniable fact that, i will say that the older ones are more effective powerful. toddler Shakespeare, toddler Van Gogh, toddler Mozart, toddler Einstein (for sure), and the international Animals and residential Animals are sturdy. After that I kinda imagine they went somewhat more effective in course of a blues clues experience, this is wonderful, for older children, yet for a toddler, i might want to keep on with the older sequence.

We won a baby einstein "christmas" dvd in a competition. My 8 month old finds it fairly entertaining, I can't see why though! But, then again, its not suppose to entertain me, is it!!!

That over-hyped Disney junk? Lose.

""Any child-video interaction is extremely passive," she observes. "A child can talk to a video, but a video can't talk back to a child. There's no touch, no eye contact, and that's how babies learn best.""

""Essentially, the baby video industry is a scam. There's no evidence that the videos are educational for babies, and a review of the research on babies and videos concludes that while older babies can imitate simple actions from a video they've seen several times, they learn much more rapidly from real life," Linn says."
