My best friend and i are going out tomorrow night for once in a while. I drink and she doesnt. She wants to meet up some place. But i want her to drive cause i want to have a couple of drinks. What can i say to her that doesnt sound rude? i dont want to just come out and say, "Can you drive so i can drink?"

Honesty is the best policy. Tell her to pick your drunk *** up.

That is easy. Have this conversation when you are both sober. I think that if you come to an agreement about switching off or picking what nights are yours and hers, then I think she will go for it. If not, then she is walking a one way street. Friends don't let friends drive after drinking. They also share and want to help each other. So see what type of friend you have and ask her.

Probably you can do it in a humourous way. Like, "You ok with drinking juice and being our chauffeur?"

or "if you're not driving, we better hook up with some cute guys who are."

something like that..

But since you both are best friends, chances are, she'll not get offended even if you're straight forward.

if she's not driving still, take a cab.

Say, "Hey, would you mind picking me up? I don't want to drive after drinking. I'll gladly pay for gas/ your sodas, etc.."

and BTW, kudos to you for trying to find a DD.

Take a cab home , that way your not imposing on your friend or just using her for a ride.
